<string language="fre"><![CDATA[Titre : SEGAMED Nice 2012 : Social Serious Games.
Intervenant (s) : Laurent AUNEAU (Succubus Interactive, Nantes France).
Résumé : The talk will explain how a serious game can use social networks such as Facebook to maximize audience. It will define the metrics on social networks, the particular case of a serious game on such platforms and the expectations of the player. By adding viralization and fidelization in the equation, the developer has to make sure the serious game is still serious, but has enough game parts in it so that most common social gamers won't feel abused.
In the specific cases of branding, the talk will compare serious game carrying out an "expert message" with other well known nongame techniques of spreading over social networks (such as fan page with content update engagement rules).
Finally, future trends will be discussed on how open graph allows developers to use relevant user data to enhance game pedagogical content transmission.
Participants will understand the do's and dont's of a serious game over social networks. Mostly, beloved public will understand how to make sure the game can reach a maximum audience, and how to make sure that audience gets the maximum out of the message carried by the game.
Succubus is French pioneer serious game developer with two main business applications domains (serious & social gaming).
