URI1958e358-a7cd-4283-a278-e85afeb47263Approfondissement théorique : la perception du paysage urbain selon Kevin LynchfraUrbaniste et universitaire américain, Kevin Lynch fut professeur au MIT et participa en qualité de conseiller à plusieurs projets d’aménagement aux Etats-Unis, dont le projet de remodèlement du centre de Boston. Par son ouvrage fondateur « L’image de la cité » (The Image of the City, 1960), Lynch refonda la légitimité de l’analyse visuelle du paysage urbain, à un moment où la pratique urbanistique était essentiellement fondée sur l’analyse fonctionnelle de l’espace.
