Andrew D. Huberman, Ph.D. is an Associate Professor at the Departments of Neurosciences and Ophthalmology and the Neurobiology Section in the Division of Biological Sciences, UC San Diego. Adjunct Professor at The Salk Institute of Biological Sciences (start. April 2016, Stanford University School of Medicine, Department of Neurobiology) Research topics Dr. Huberman is interested in understanding how visual circuits work, the genes and mechanisms that assemble them, and how to repair visual circuits that are compromised by injury or disease.
