Lecture 1. Controlled speech production / Mardi 05 septembre – 16h à 18h – salle Gris, sous-sol bât. B   Controlled speech production is a means to observe speakers’ behavior under identical conditions. A sentence formation study on German, Greek, Chinese, and Turkish shows that only the two former languages display psych effects on the linearization with transitive experiencer-object verbs, while the two latter languages do not provide evidence for an exceptional behavior at the syntactic level (Verhoeven 2014).
